We're excited to be performing with the Orchestra and Choir as special guests and for the 7th Grade to WORLD PREMIERE Go Get It! by Marie Douglas. This commission was made possible by donations from the community, our Hart families, and the Rochester Community Schools Foundation and we are thrilled to bring it to life! Orchestra Concert The 7th and 8th Grade Bands will be guests as a part of the Orchestra concert. Students should arrive at SCHS at 7:00. We should go on around 7:20-7:30. Students are free to leave when we are done performing. Chamber Music Night The link to sign up for a performance time on May 13 has been posted for all students in Google Classroom. Students should arrive 20 minutes prior to their schedule performance time and may leave when they're done, but are encouraged to stick around for a bit and cheer on their friends. Following the Chamber performances, the SCHS Jazz Bands will perform at 8:00. We're hoping to have some food trucks (anyone who might have an interested connection, please contact Mrs RO!), but families are always welcome to bring some food and some lawn chairs and relax on The Hill to enjoy a great night of music! 6th Grade Spring Concert We will perform at 7:00 PM in the Hart Gym. Students should arrive by 6:30 dressed nicely. 8th Grade Families SCHS Music Registration Night will be May 29 from 5-8 PM. More details on specific timing for freshmen coming soon, but please mark your calendars. This is an important information evening to prepare for the coming year as a musician at Stoney Creek! I can provide some reeds in an emergency, but cannot be the main supplier of reeds for all students.
